The crown on the muzzle end as as "teeth" when used as a standoff device for breaching, or other engagements where "teeth" would be required to provide bite into the surface.
They are also HUB compatible so you can use the SBM blast can on your pistol or rifle caliber carbine.
The blast can comes in 4 different material options:
- 6061 Aluminum - this comes standard on all SBM models
- 4140 Steel/ Nitride - this is a direct replacement of the Aluminum model for heavy use
- 17-4 Stainless Steel/ Heat Treat - This is a "gold" finish stainless steel option for the SBM. This is for the end user who wants something to catch the eye, and has improved strength over the aluminum blast can.
- Mini - This is a blast can to shorten the overall length of the GEN-12. It works great as a micro option, and is 4140 steel with nitride finish.
